CIL heads to CANVAS meeting in Salt Lake City!

Kelsey Fenn (PhD candidate @ UCD) and Dr. Logan Ebert (postdoc @ UW–Madison) did a fantastic job representing the Conservation Irrigation Lab at the annual CANVAS meeting in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kelsey gave her first oral presentation at a national conference presenting some new data showing how a designer perennial cover crop called Oakville Bluegrass impacts soil physical health after just a couple of years of practice. Dr. Logan Ebert presented a poster focused on intercropping barley, flax, oats, mustard, millet, and clover with Wisconsin potatoes. Though Mallika was sad to miss everyone, the group got to reconnect and spend some quality time with lab alum and rising star Prof. Gaurav Jha (Kansas State University).
